Canonical Entrypoint And Authority Validation — 2026-08-08

  • Status: CURRENT STATIC DOCUMENT VALIDATION
  • Repository baseline: qa/master@82aa810451e1082bfdeeb98136a03bd23a35269b
  • Review branch: agent/canonical-doc-authority-correction-20260808
  • Work track: CLOUD DOCUMENTATION / SOURCE RECONCILIATION
  • Phase implementation: USER HOLD
  • Effects: documentation only

1. Objective

Verify that a new repository session is forced to read the current documentation and execution corrections before interpreting an older Task, Process packet, Architecture shorthand, or Schema summary.

The required precedence is:

current Context and Roadmap
-> current technical correction rules
-> current source/source-authority documents
-> Process/Runbook/Wiki projection
-> target reconstruction packet
-> historical plan/candidate/evidence

This validation does not inspect a Runtime environment, database, provider, role, or current Wiki row.

2. Sources Inspected

AGENTS.md
Context Appendix N
Context Appendix O
.agents/rules/AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_EVIDENCE.md
.agents/rules/ARCHITECTURE.md
.agents/rules/DB_SCHEMA.md
app/utils/KJDatabase.php
app/systems/TMS/transload/loader_transition_evidence.php
docs/reconstruction/DOCUMENT_AUTHORITY_CONFLICT_AND_RETIREMENT_REGISTER.md

3. Findings Before Correction

ENTRY-AUTH-001 — Missing rebuild-grade Context

AGENTS.md required Context only through Appendix M.

It did not require:

Appendix N — rebuild-grade documentation
Appendix O — current Phase hold and documentation lane

Risk:

  • detailed reconstruction work could be treated as implementation readiness;
  • an older active-looking Task could be executed despite the current hold;
  • documentation-only work could be misreported as Phase progress.

ENTRY-AUTH-002 — Missing audit/evidence precedence

AGENTS.md did not require:

.agents/rules/AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_EVIDENCE.md

Older shorthand in the large Architecture and Schema files therefore remained easy to read before the current correction owner.

ENTRY-AUTH-003 — KJDatabase shorthand conflict

Current large-file shorthand includes language equivalent to:

KJDatabase logs DML snapshots
KJDatabase records before/after DML snapshots

Current source-authority interpretation is:

KJDatabase
= request/mutation diagnostic metadata
!= general immutable before/after business-row snapshot authority

Relevant diagnostic metadata includes statement/table family, insert ID, affected rows, touched tables, transaction result, request context, timing, and error metadata. Business outcome still requires authoritative business-row and domain/transition/provider evidence.

ENTRY-AUTH-004 — Transition writer shorthand conflict

Current Schema shorthand states that the initial Transition Audit store has no active writer caller.

Current source contains a selected Loader Transloading transition writer:

CtcLoaderTransitionEvidence
-> TransitionAuditStore::appendInCallerTransaction()

The safe current statement is:

framework source present
selected Loader writer source present
universal Process coverage absent
current environment table/row/activation evidence required

Source presence does not prove current deployed execution or current rows.

4. Correction Applied

AGENTS.md now requires every planning/edit/review session to read:

Context Appendix N
Context Appendix O
AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_EVIDENCE.md

It now also states:

Appendix O hold must be explicitly lifted for the named Phase Task
Detailed documentation does not establish M3/M4
Cloud source/document reconciliation does not advance a Phase
Operational Delivery requires a new explicit named request

The Database Rules reading list also includes the current audit/evidence rule.

5. Conflict Register Update

DOCUMENT_AUTHORITY_CONFLICT_AND_RETIREMENT_REGISTER.md now records:

  • KJDatabase precedence is current and mandatory at repository entry;
  • selected Transition writer source is present but environment evidence remains required;
  • the missing Appendix N/O and audit-rule entrypoint was a distinct conflict and is corrected;
  • direct large-file shorthand cleanup remains a bounded follow-up rather than an interpretation blocker.

6. Validation Results

Check Result What it proves What it does not prove
Appendix N in mandatory source list PASS rebuild-grade documentation direction is read at entry Runtime equivalence or M3/M4
Appendix O in mandatory source list PASS current hold and allowed lane are read at entry any Task is reactivated
audit/evidence rule in mandatory list PASS current diagnostic/transition semantics take precedence current DB tables or rows
explicit Phase hold-lift requirement PASS active-looking historical labels cannot authorize work alone user approval exists for any Phase
detailed docs != M3/M4 statement PASS documentation completion is not operational readiness field verification
conflict register updated PASS discrepancy and remaining follow-up are discoverable large owner shorthand physically removed
Architecture direct shorthand cleanup NOT_RUN — stale line still exists in the large owner file
Schema direct shorthand cleanup NOT_RUN — stale line still exists in the large owner file
current DB/audit environment NOT_RUN — table installation, rows, writer activation, retention

7. Changed Scope

AGENTS.md
docs/reconstruction/DOCUMENT_AUTHORITY_CONFLICT_AND_RETIREMENT_REGISTER.md
docs/reconstruction/CANONICAL_ENTRYPOINT_AUTHORITY_VALIDATION_2026-08-08.md
docs/operations/changes/2026-08-08-canonical-entrypoint-authority-correction-handover.md

No Runtime, database, role, menu, account, configuration, credential, provider, file, service, scheduler, deployment, Wiki DB, backup, restore, or physical action is included.

8. Remaining Bounded Follow-Up

Direct large-owner wording

Replace only the conflicting Architecture/Schema shorthand after fetching and preserving the full current owner files:

ARCHITECTURE.md
- KJDatabase logs DML snapshots

DB_SCHEMA.md
- Mutation audit: KJDatabase records before/after DML snapshots
- no active writer caller

Required replacement must not invent current environment facts.

Current environment evidence

Execute only after separate exact read authorization:

RBR-AUDIT-002

It must determine current schema installation, selected writer reachability, row population, retention state, redaction, and correlation behavior.

9. Completion Level

Repository entrypoint correction: COMPLETE
Current precedence correction: COMPLETE
Direct Architecture/Schema text cleanup: OPEN
Current audit environment verification: NOT RUN
Phase progress: NONE
M3/M4 impact: NONE
