Canonical Audit Shorthand Cleanup Validation — 2026-08-08

  • Status: CURRENT STATIC DOCUMENT VALIDATION
  • Repository baseline: qa/master@f5ad3d665ae3dca053550f6a1c32586b89257baa
  • Review branch: agent/canonical-audit-shorthand-cleanup-20260808
  • Work track: CLOUD DOCUMENTATION / SOURCE RECONCILIATION
  • Phase implementation: USER HOLD
  • Effects: documentation only

1. Objective

Remove the remaining direct contradictions in the two large canonical technical owners after repository-entry precedence was corrected.

Targeted contradictions:

ARCHITECTURE.md
- KJDatabase logs DML snapshots

DB_SCHEMA.md
- KJDatabase records before/after DML snapshots
- Transition Audit has no active writer caller

The cleanup must preserve the rest of the current Architecture and Schema content and must not infer environment facts that were not read.

2. Source Basis

Current source and correction owners reviewed:

app/utils/KJDatabase.php
app/systems/TMS/transload/loader_transition_evidence.php
app/platform/process/TransitionAuditStore.php
.agents/rules/AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_EVIDENCE.md
docs/reconstruction/CANONICAL_AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_CONTRACT_CORRECTION_2026-08-08.md
docs/reconstruction/PLATFORM_AUDIT_TRANSITION_CORRELATION_SUPPORT_SOURCE_AUTHORITY.md

Current source supports the following bounded statements:

KJDatabase records request/mutation diagnostic metadata.
It is not the general immutable business before/after snapshot store.

A selected Loader Transloading Transition writer exists in source.
Universal Process coverage does not exist.
Named-environment table installation, activation, rows, and retention require evidence.

3. Architecture Correction

Before

KJDatabase logs DML snapshots.

After

KJDatabase records bounded request/mutation diagnostic metadata:
statement/table family, insert ID, affected rows, touched tables,
transaction result, request context, timing, and errors.

KJDatabase is not the general immutable before/after business-row snapshot authority.
Business result requires authoritative row reread and process/domain/transition/provider evidence.

Additional consistency changes:

  • related sources include AUDIT_AND_TRANSITION_EVIDENCE.md;
  • Utility Layer describes mutation diagnostics rather than mutation audit;
  • Sources link the current audit/evidence owner.

No Runtime architecture ownership was otherwise intentionally changed.

4. DB Schema Correction

Mutation diagnostics

The Engine and Access section now matches the Architecture and audit/evidence rule.

Transition Audit writer status

Before

no active writer caller

After

selected Loader Transloading writer source present
universal Process coverage absent
current deployment activation/rows require evidence

The wording continues to avoid unsupported environment claims.

Loader dual representation

The current Schema summary also now records the already-established source fact:

active Route representation
= QUEUE_WORK_ASSIGNMENT + COMMODITY_NAME + FINAL_DRAFT

separate typed helper representation
= ASSIGNMENT_DATA JSON

It does not claim current column/index/row population. That remains owned by the RBR-AWCO-002 read-only DB preflight.

Cancellation spelling

The Status table records the source-level difference:

current Route = CANCELLED
typed helper = CANCELED

Current database population still requires evidence before normalization.

5. Conflict Register Result

The conflict register now marks:

DOC-CONFLICT-004 = CORRECTED DIRECTLY
DOC-CONFLICT-005 = CORRECTED DIRECTLY / ENVIRONMENT EVIDENCE REQUIRED

The direct Architecture/Schema cleanup item was removed from the remaining queue.

Still open:

  • RBR-AUDIT-002 current environment evidence;
  • Loader DB population/dynamic caller evidence;
  • controlled non-Production reproductions;
  • current Wiki inventory;
  • high-risk packet drift-header review;
  • legacy path retirement after caller-zero.

6. Validation Results

Check Result Proves Does not prove
Architecture diagnostic semantics PASS direct canonical wording matches current source authority current log contents or retention
DB Schema diagnostic semantics PASS Schema summary no longer claims general snapshots current environment diagnostics
Transition selected-writer wording PASS source presence and bounded scope are represented current deployment execution or rows
Loader dual representation wording PASS current source representations are documented current DB population
cancellation spelling divergence PASS source-level writer difference is visible deployed values or consumer behavior
conflict register closure PASS direct document conflict is discoverably closed environment evidence
unrelated Runtime source changes NOT_APPLICABLE this package is documentation-only Runtime behavior
database inspection NOT_RUN — table/index/row/writer evidence
target-role/provider/Wiki evidence NOT_RUN — M3, field acceptance, current Wiki

7. Changed Scope

.agents/rules/ARCHITECTURE.md
.agents/rules/DB_SCHEMA.md

No Runtime, database, role, menu, account, configuration, credential, provider, file, service, scheduler, Wiki data, deployment, backup, restore, or physical action is included.
