Overview

Superseded material, kept whole so that a decision can be traced and a past mistake can be understood.

Nothing here describes the system as it operates today. If you are doing a job, you want Operator instead.

Main Features

The Three Kinds Of Record Here

Section What it holds Why it is kept
Decision references Policy, parity and sequence matrices So a rule can be traced to the reasoning behind it
Transition records Migration packets, reconciliation and source addenda So a cutover can be reconstructed packet by packet
Legacy v1 The new-system material as it stood So the superseded state can be compared against the live one

Decision References

Policy and parity matrices covering the areas that had open decisions. Each states what the rule was, what it was compared against, and what was left undecided.

Start with Process Contract Standard if you need the shape these documents follow, or Cross-Process Handoff and Identity Matrix if you are tracing how work passes between screens.

Request Operations Policy is kept here because it is an internal decision record about AI session authority, not an operator screen manual.

Transition Records

Migration packets and source reconciliations, kept in the order they were produced. Each is dated and scoped to one area.

These describe movement between systems. They are not instructions for the current system.

Legacy v1

The new-system material as it stood before it was reconciled into the live system. Kept for comparison, not for use.

Fields

Field What it means
Date Always read this first. The record is true only as at that date
Area Which part of the system it concerns
Status Superseded, historical or closed

Status

Everything here is superseded or historical by definition.

If you are looking for current behaviour, stop here and go to Operator.

Notes

  • Do not follow a link out of this section and act on it. The destination may have been superseded too.
  • A matrix here can look authoritative and still be out of date. Check the date, then check the live page.
  • The archived material is not deleted because a decision cannot be reviewed without the reasoning that produced it. That is the whole point of this section.
  • History — records that are still current
  • Developer — how the system is built today
