Effect Separation

The former generic Labels and Reports surface contains separate effects: label read/physical-browser print without a durable print ledger; read-only Warehouse Map and report reconciliation; label-detail placement update; physical-inventory snapshot and trucking AP-rate mutation; and inventory source-lot, balance and ledger mutation. The current process registry assigns them to distinct atomic owners; report reconciliation is composite only.

Current Constraints And Unknowns

  • Direct label IDs can render a non-candidate transload; SPARE is printable but is absent from the inspected placement-update state set; no print acknowledgement or deduplication exists.
  • Report page module requirements and API module requirements differ. Storage Report has company-only current-as-of semantics without an operator date/period selector.
  • Inventory-lot PATCH/adjust has no inspected active operator caller; its tenant isolation is source-proven but CTC/MK business applicability remains unknown. Location/metadata PATCH emits no Bale-ledger event.
  • Bale mutation can return LEGACY_SCHEMA_NO_LEDGER=1 when the ledger table is absent. Physical count uses an optimistic conditional update rather than FOR UPDATE; void can clamp resulting weight while retaining the full inverse ledger delta.
  • Production role access, report correctness, printer configuration and field SOP approval were not verified.

Warehouse label print, report reconciliation, physical inventory snapshot, trucking AP-rate refresh, bale inventory adjustment, inventory-lot correction and the Warehouse Grid contract own their respective process/state/recovery details.
