CTC Research Inputs¶
- Status:
RESEARCH INPUT ONLY - Planning authority:
../requirements/CTC_PRODUCT_PLATFORM_AND_DOCUMENTATION_CONTEXT.md - Owning foundation Task:
P1-001; live Task status is owned only by theRoadmap - Purpose: preserve detailed investigation and recovered source material without turning it into current Phase, Task, Roadmap, Request, Harness or deployment authority.
- Retention/removal: keep dated inputs while a current owner or future Task needs their evidence; remove only through a separately approved disposition after absorption, consumer review and Git preservation are confirmed.
Rules¶
- Research collections use descriptive topic names, not Task numbers.
- Raw files may contain historical numeric headings,
COMPLETE,IN PROGRESS,Unlocks,NEXTorStatus owner; these are provenance from the original file and are not current status. - Snapshot files remain byte-preserved unless a separate interpreted document is created alongside them.
- Research may inform a user-approved Phase or Task, but it does not create one.
- Freshness-sensitive facts are rechecked only where later work depends on them; the underlying research is not discarded.
- Research is not a document catalog, generated index, validator input or automatic quality gate.
- Downstream work reads the detailed sources rather than relying only on a summary when the research is relevant.
Collections¶
platform-foundation/2026-07-30/: full foundation information-gathering records covering documents, competitors, repository structure, verification and Request/Control Tower boundaries.recovered-documents/2026-07-30/: exact and interpreted material recovered after commitcc25434eaa0dfec09eaf22e1579f2fb00870b4e9, including the preliminary recovery baseline used byP1-001.
The original Git history remains authoritative for commit ancestry and original paths. The research tree keeps detailed material visible without making historical labels or conclusions current authority.
