Integration Value¶
- Replace desktop scale dependency with web scale portal.
- Reuse CTC tenant/module platform instead of porting YP structure directly.
- Map rate, commodity, purchase, export, and ticket concepts into existing CTC modules.
- Preserve auditable writes and tenant scope.
Risks¶
- Scale hardware integration may require local browser/device bridge work.
- Desktop direct DB writes must not be copied into the web app.
- YP table names and status values should be normalized into CTC canonical tables.
- Migration must not bypass module guard or
CLIENT_IDrules.
Migration Implications¶
- Keep scale portal as a pilot module, not a framework rewrite.
- Treat YP data as input to CTC module contracts.
- Use BMS/YMS ownership split: weight capture belongs to YMS scale; billing validation belongs to BMS scale-ticket.
