Detailed Control Tower documentation moved to the sibling Control Tower project:

This CTC runtime repo keeps only runtime boundary rules in .agents/rules/CONTROL_TOWER.md.

Legacy Work Item retirement and archive procedure is preserved in It is not a CTC development workflow.

Terminology:

  • local: the Mac workstation running Codex. Resolve paths from the current repo root and sibling checkouts.
  • hub: the Linux host hub, where Control Tower is hosted and where runtime checkouts may also exist.
  • CTC development source of truth: the current user request, repository AGENTS.md, and active .agents/rules/*. CTC development does not depend on GitHub Issues/Projects/PR/CI or Control Tower task/session state.
  • Existing hosted Tasks are read-only migration/archive records. Operate a specific legacy record only when the user explicitly requests lookup, export, or closure.

Maintenance

  • Do not add new Control Tower implementation, publish, inventory, or deployment docs in this CTC runtime repo.
  • Update the sibling control-tower project for Control Tower product/control-plane changes.
  • Update .agents/rules/CONTROL_TOWER.md only when CTC runtime behavior or config-consumption boundaries change.
