CTC to Wiki Migration Classification

A classification of where each CTC repository document belongs relative to this wiki. This records decisions and ownership; it does not describe the operator manual and it authorises no deletion. No CTC file has been removed.

What This Answers

Where does each CTC document go, and does anything still need to move? · 1 document

Headline

Of the CTC documents that could look user-facing, none is an operator screen manual. They are audit preflights, process contracts, system-test runbooks and build records. The operator manual does not need to absorb them — it is already complete from the pages that were migrated.

Count
CTC candidate documents scanned 581
Already represented in the wiki 47

The Four Buckets

Bucket Docs Already in the wiki What they actually are
docs/operations 297 0 Read-only environment and surface preflights. Evidence packets, not manuals
docs/processes 172 37 Process contracts, parity matrices and sequence diagrams
docs/runbooks 62 10 System-test runbooks and platform recovery
new-system/docs 50 0 Build records, task evidence and wiki projection packets
graft — 0 Generated graph output. Machine artifacts, not documents

Decisions

  1. Nothing here is migrated into the Operator manual. These are not screen manuals, and putting them there would recreate exactly the density the restructure was meant to remove.
  2. The 47 documents already in the wiki are the live version. Their repository copies are now the stale source.
  3. docs/operations, docs/runbooks and new-system/docs stay in the repository. They are evidence and recovery material. The repository is where they belong; the wiki is not.
  4. Nothing is deleted as part of this classification. Deletion is a separate, explicit step.

The One Loose End

A migrated wiki page still carries a footer naming its repository source document. Since the wiki page is now the live version, that footer points at a document that is no longer the authority.

The options are to remove the footer, repoint it to the section landing page, or mark the repository copy as superseded. This has not been done yet — it needs a decision because the footer is the only link back to the original evidence.
